We’ll start with a summary of state and federal laws providing protections for pregnant workers, including the federal Pregnant Worker’s Fairness Act. We’ll discuss the EEOC’s guidance for employers and healthcare providers regarding the PWFA, and we’ll consider several real-world scenarios for applying the laws.
