Statistics show that employee mental health challenges and substance abuse are on the rise in today’s workplace.  What can and should the employer be doing to address these concerns? This session will focus on cultural and legal issues related to these challenges including having appropriate discussions with employees and supervisors around mental health, providing resources to assist employees and their families, and addressing leaves of absence and other accommodations including a safe and successful return to work.
