Leave Laws in the COVID Age: FMLA and FFCRA

Congress enacted the Family Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”) in 1993.  This program dives into the foundations of the FMLA, exploring its evolution and quirks, and provides context to the situational problems regularly seen by HR professional when dealing with the FMLA.  The program will additionally address continuing questions surrounding leaves of absence in a COVID-19 world and how the FMLA interacts with other state and federal laws including the Families First Coronavirus Relief Act (“FFCRA”)
