    Good Grief:
Feeling and Dealing with What We’ve Lost

    Wednesday June 3, 2020  from
    9 - 9:30am

    Presented by:
    Stephanie Marshall, LICSW
Senior Employee Assistance Consultant at KGA, Inc.

An elder family member has died, your partner has lost their job, you’ve been laying off or furloughing employees and you feel exhausted, teary or angry.  That’s grief.  Or your friends and family are healthy, you and your employees are all working, you’re able to get outside for exercise and distanced socializing and you still feel sad, irritable, and blah. That’s grief too. COVID-19 has brought with it tremendous personal losses- people, rituals of grief, jobs, control, sense of a future, family and friend celebrations.  Why is it important to acknowledge the losses, even if they seem trivial, and how can we deal with the emotional turmoil from them?
