Legislative Update

The past year has brought a significant amount of change to the laws and regulations impacting employers.  As Human Resource professionals, it can be tough to stay on top of all of these changes!  This presentation will cover legal updates over the past year, at both the state and federal level, including new statutes, court decisions, and regulatory changes.  You will also learn how these changes may impact your business, and get tips on how to change process and policies in light of these changes.

About our Presenter:  Katie Kiernan Marble is an employment attorney licensed to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire and her law degree from the American University Washington College of Law.  Katie practices, and often speaks on the subjects of, a variety of employment law issues, including managing risk with respect to state and federal employment laws, handling state and federal agency audits and investigations, and preventing and defending against employee claims.  Katie is the Vice-Chair of the New Hampshire Bar's Labor and Employment Law Section and the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Manchester Young Professionals Network.
