NH HR State Council & ESGR need your help to HELP OUR RETURNING SOLDIERS

As you’re aware, SHRM and almost every state in the union have pledged their support for our soldiers through the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). Moreover, SHRM, The NH HR State Council & every NH SHRM Chapter were recognized by the Department of Defense the “Outstanding Performance Award” presented on behalf of the men and women of the National Guard and Reserve, for outstanding service and continuing support to the national defense.
Now our soldiers need our help at home! Our soldiers are returning early August, approximately 750 soldiers, and they need your support!
We need (3 -4 HR professionals per topic) your help and expertise on the following topics:
Job Search Techniques Self-Assessment The Application Process
Preparing a Cover Letter & Resume Preparing for the Interview Following up
Please dedicate a few hours of your time to one or more of these “prep” sessions!
The ESGR Committee, along with Employment Security, Easter Seals, US DoL, SBA & HR will make this happen!
There are two NH Statewide Job/Career Fairs planned. Both are open to the public with the first being held on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The culminating event will be another statewide "Job/Career Fair" @ the Steeplegate Mall, Concord, on October 26, 2011.
