    Catharine is the Director of Human Resources & Compliance at CGI Business Solutions and has 20+ years of experience in the Human Resources field. She currently manages the HR Support and Benefits Administration Department of CGI, which includes compliance, benefits administration and human resources solutions for CGI's clients. She has a diverse background in the area of human resources, including compliance, staffing, employee relations, training, benefits, compensation and payroll.     Mike has been the Director of Talent Acquisition at UnitedHealth Group (UHG) for the past 15 + years. Mike has been a member of the Society of Human Resource Professionals (SHRM) since 2000.     Andrea G. Chatfield is an attorney at Cook, Little, Rosenblatt & Manson, p.l.l.c. in Manchester, NH where she provides advice and guidance to employers on risk management issues in the workplace.  She represents employers of all types and sizes before administrative agencies in discrimination, whistleblower, unemployment, and wage disputes.  She conducts in-house trainings for employers, and serves as an outside investigator for employers who need to respond to highly sensitive internal complaints of discrimination and harassment.

    Jim practices in the areas of labor and employment law where he exclusively represents management. He is the Practice Group Chair of the Firm’s Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Practice Group.     Anne joined CGI Business Solutions as a Senior Benefits Consultant with over 18 years in the employee benefits area. She has had the opportunity to gain experience both from the insurance carrier and benefits agency arena. Anne strives to provide proactive, strategic financial and compliance advice to all size employers that include immediate as well as long term planning initiatives. She seeks to create and maintain a long term partnership with her clients working in a consultative role on all facets of employee benefits and related HR issues. She has been very active in the HR community as the current Exhibitor Chair of the Granite State Human Resource Conference, many Board positions with the Seacoast HR Chapter, including President, and she was awarded the SHRM State Council of NH's Outstanding HR Volunteer of the year for 2011.

    Mike Pacheco is a retired Army Officer with 30 years of Military Service.  He served two combat tours of duty in Iraq and one as a strategic planner for the US Embassy, Iraq.

    Mike has served as the Program Coordinator for Volunteer New Hampshire's citizen Corps Program where he managed the state's largest volunteer surge to assist the hurricane stricken gulf coast in 2004.
    Pacheco later worked for IDS International.  A Department of Defense Contractor, writing interagency exercises and preparing interagency partners for deployments to combat environments.
    In 2014, Mike was hired by a defense contractor as the Program Support Specialist for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Program.   Bringing years of outreach experience, Mike is focused on raising the visibility of the ESGR brand, and establishing substantive relationships with New Hampshire's employers and service members throughout the Guard and Reserve.
    Mike resides in Weare, New Hampshire with his son, Trevor.

    Nancy Rowell has worked at Skillings & Sons, Inc. (NE largest water well drilling company) for over 14 years.  She started in the summer of 2001 in payroll and as an HR assistant.  Since that time the company has more than doubled its workforce and she now manages the HR and payroll departments.  In 2008 she was “recruited” to serve as the secretary to the Greater Nashua HR Association (GNHRA), a local SHRM chapter.  In 2009 she became the Treasurer for GNHRA where she still currently volunteers.  Nancy is PHR and SHRM-CP certified.

    Armando is the Vice President/HR Practice Leader for Clark & Lavey Benefits Solutions (Merrimack, NH), a role he has held for 4 years.  He is a member of the Manchester Area Human Resources Association and was previously affiliated with the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA) where he was the Co-Chair and member of the Diversity Committee.


    His HR experience includes global HR operations positions with Thermo Fisher Scientific, EMC and Siemens’ Osram Sylvania subsidiary.  Prior to Client & Lavey, he was an HR consultant and assisted clients in New England.

    Armando’s advocacy and support of educational and career development opportunities in underserved communities have been recognized by HENAAC (Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Corporation) – recipient of a national Luminary Award – and the Boston Business Journal – included in the “Twenty on the Move” list.

    Fran Lefavour has 30+ years of experience in Human Resources.  She started FPL Services, a Human Resource consulting firm in 1991 and in 2000 merged her business with Spectrum Consulting, a full service Human Resources Consulting firm.  She currently provides Human Resource and Workers’ Compensation consulting for Spectrum Consulting.

    She was an adjunct faculty member of the University of New Hampshire’s Continuing Education Department, served as Vice Chair of the Business and Industry Association Human Resource Committee and was appointed and served numerous terms on the New Hampshire Public Employee Labor Relations Board, the NH Department of Labor Wage & Hour Appeals Board, NH Department of Labor Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, NH Job Training Council and the Anthem Advisory Board.

    As a member of the Seacoast Human Resource Association she has served on the Membership Committee, as Treasurer and is currently a Board member.  She has been actively involved with the Granite State Human Resource Conference, serving as Program Committee Chair, chairing the Succession Committee and managing volunteers along with being a member of the Board of Directors.  She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management. 

    She is a founding member and Treasurer of the Run For the Fallen New Hampshire. Fran was chosen as the 2015 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year awarded by the NH State Human Resource Council.

    David Twitchell is the Vice President of Human Resources for Catholic Charities New Hampshire and provides "hands on" leadership, coordination and oversight of company Human Resource functions to more than 1000 employees that serve long-term care rehabilitation and nursing centers as well as the numerous sponsored social service programs across the State of New Hampshire.     Karen VanWormer is a Human Resources consultant based in New England with over 2 decades of experience in both the private and public sector.  During her career she has worked with Motorola and Dell Computer, where she has held both generalist and specialist positions in Human Resources with a concentration in employee relations, Diversity and Work/Life program development, EEO/AA and training.  Before returning to consulting, she was the HR Director for Community Partners in Dover, NH.  In her practice as an HR Consultant, she works with organizations to develop initiatives and methods of thinking that ensure that their human resources are a source of competitive advantage.

    Karen has been a member of the faculty in the College of Business at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, and the adjunct faculty at the Peter T. Paul College of Business & Economics at the University of New Hampshire, teaching Management and Human Resources courses.

    Karen received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida State University and her Master’s Degree in Labor and Human Resources Management from The Ohio State University.     Kristine DiFiore, SHRM-CP, PHR, is the Vice President of Human Resources (HR) for Home Health Foundation, the leader in home health care, is comprised of affiliate agencies Home Health VNA, Merrimack Valley Hospice and HomeCare, Inc.   Together the three agencies serve more than 110 communities throughout the Merrimack Valley, Northeastern Massachusetts, and Southern New Hampshire. Merrimack Valley Hospice also serves the Southern Maine region as York Hospital Hospice in partnership with York Hospital.  Home Health Foundation employs over 700 employees.

    Kristine DiFiore has more than 15 years of HR leadership experience in nonprofits serving the Greater Merrimack Valley.  She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is a Certified Professional of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP).  She is also an active participant in industry associations on both state and local levels including Greater Merrimack Valley HR Association (member), Greater Merrimack Valley HR Association (Wellness Committee and member), Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts (HR Group and Membership Committee) and the Allied Health Advisory (HR Group & Curriculum Design Committee).

    I have worked in Human Resources for the past 20 years in a generalist capacity and I have loved every minute of it.  My HR career started at Filene’s as the HR Administrator and then as the HR Manager.  After Filene’s was acquired by Macy’s, I moved on to work as the HR Manager and then the Executive Manager of HR at The Telegraph.  I am currently serving as the Human Resources Officer at Manchester Community College, part of the Community College System of New Hampshire.  Each role has presented unique opportunities and challenges, and I have enjoyed them all.

    I became affiliated with the Greater Nashua Human Resources Association in 2007 at which time I also became a member of SHRM.  I was recruited to join the board a few years later and have served as Secretary, Membership Chair, and after a year as President-Elect, I will be taking over the role of President in July.

    I am certified as a PHR and SHRM-CP.  I have appreciated the support the chapters receive from the State Council and am excited about serving on the Board.

She currently manages the HR Support to ECCO USA, Inc. business units.  She is responsible for HR programs and activities related to staffing, compensation, benefits, compliance, safety and workplace programs. Hope’s background includes healthcare, wholesale food distribution, retail, medical device manufacturing, giftware, electronics, consumer goods and fashion industries.  Hope has held MAHRA Board positions as Workforce Readiness and Professional Development Chairs and has served on many committees.  Hope has her Bachelor’s degree in Management from the Merrimack College and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) as well as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

    Matthew joined The Rowley Agency 9 years ago with a focus on Employee Benefits and Human Resources.  His specialty is combining large commercial employee benefit packages and creative funding solutions, while mixing in employee-centric approaches.   A frequent speaker on the joys and wonders of the ACA and rising healthcare costs, one of his driving goals is to make sure that people understand the complex world of healthcare.


    During his time at Rowley, Matthew has had the pleasure of meeting several wonderful HR professionals, which led him to SHRM and the various state Chapters.  A member since 2011, he was recently named President of Human Resources Association of Greater Concord (HRAGC).  He also is SHRM-SCP certified, completed the Human Resources Practices program at Cornell University.


    Matthew is a part of numerous non-profits and volunteer organizations.  He has worked with Learn to Read, NH JAG, The Friendly Kitchen, The Concord Regional Food Program, New Journeys, The Concord Boys and Girls Club, and several others that he has been introduced to through the world of HR.


    Matthew is married to another HR nerd and has an old cat that he loves dearly, with pictures available on request.  He’s an avid art collector, and plays in multiple sports leagues with skills diminishing by the day.

John also represents businesses in various industry sectors in relation to immigration issues, and provides I-9 compliance consulting services. He earned his B.A. from the State University of New York in 1979 and his J.D. from UNH School of Law (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1982). John is the founder and chair of the Diversity Workforce Coalition, a nonprofit organization promoting a diverse workforce. John is Commercial Consul to France for the State of New Hampshire, a past member of the Global Panel of the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).  He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and is admitted to practice before the NH Supreme Court and Federal District Court.     Dawn Barker has had the privilege of being a part of RiverWoods at Exeter, a continuing care retirement community located in Exeter, NH for the last 16 years.  As Vice President of  Human Resources, she is responsible for managing Human Resources and Risk Management for the organization.  Prior to RiverWoods, Dawn’s experience was in recruiting and general Human Resource practice.  She received her Senior Professional in Human Resources credentialing from The Society of Human Resource Management in the Spring of 2006.  She holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University and a BA from Bentley College.  Dawn has held board positions with Great Bay Kids and The Granite State Human Resource Conference.

    Lisa has been employed at Microwave Engineering Corporation for the past thirty-four years.  She received her PHR certification in 2007 and her SHRM-CP in 2014. As a department of one, she is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources. In addition to her daily work activities, she has been a volunteer with the Greater Merrimack Valley HR Association since 2007 and is currently serving as chapter president

    Her background includes extensive experience with Human Resources and interacting daily for the past 20 years with all levels of company employees.  She is also responsible for the total benefit package including the 401K plan. In addition to her personal duties she supports sales administration, as well as, weekly payroll processing, DOL and Affirmative Action compliance.
