    Strafford County—WIOA Work Readiness Interview Event Overview

     

     

    Work Readiness interview event

     

    A dynamic event for students with disabilities ages 16-21 to engage in mock interviews, receive constructive feedback on their presentation, and obtain valuable information about employment-related topics and local employment & training opportunities for after high school.

    8:30am Check-In

    9:00am – 1:00pm Event

     
     

     

    Resources Needed

    • Presenter for Resume Writing Mini-Workshop (will run 4x, 20-30 minutes per mini-workshop)
    • Presenter for Hot Jobs (will run 4x, 20-30 minutes per mini-workshop)
    • 20 Interviewers total to conduct 140 total interviews throughout day (20 minute interviews; interviewers will have breaks!)
    • 10-20 Business Partners to host Info Tables to provide students info about businesses, career fields, types of positions available and education/training required.
